Frank Joseph Pietropaolo, 68, long time resident of Bryn Mawr passed away Sunday morning, May 8, 2011.

Born May 30, 1942 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. to Licia Carafa and Nicholas Pietropaolo. Frank grew up in Bryn Mawr and Villanova. He was a member of the first graduating class of Harriton High School, class of 1961. After high school Frank served in the National Guard of the U.S. Army and as an Army Reservist.

On February 21, 1970 he married Martha Evelyn "Murf" Doran. Since they were married they have made their home in Bryn Mawr, where they raised their three children.

Frank was in Real Estate Sales for years mostly with Fox and Lazo, he also worked in Sales for Circuit City.

In his spare time Frank was a Civil War enthusiast, reading, and studying everything he could find about the Civil War.

He was a long time meber of the Kimberton Fishing Game, serving as President for 14 years. He was also a member of the Cigar Club.

Frank is the beloved husband of Martha E. "Murf" Pietropaolo, loving father of Debbie (Troy), Lisa (Andy), Brian (Mandy), loving grandfather of Andrew, Justin, and Joey Moore, and Sebastian Pitropaolo, beloved son of Licia and the late Nicholas Pietropaolo, brother of Ralph Pietropaolo and Diane Farren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12 in Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, Pennswood Rd, Bryn Mawr where family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:45 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Frank's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. , 19 E. Ridge Pike, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, Pa. 19428.
